Staff Nurse (21/28 hours per week, to include 3 hours on Saturday & Sunday) specified purpose contract for one year and can be tailored to meet the needs of the selected candidate.
Coolmine requires a Registered Nurse, to work in conjunction with our Clinical Nurse Specialist to oversee the varying health needs of our clients.
This is a secondment or relief post for a 12 month period.
Role:
To assess the health needs of clients in Coolmine residential and day programmes ensuring physical, social, psychological and health education needs are met in conjunction with current multidisciplinary team.
A Psychiatric Nursing Qualification desirable
Registered with An Bord Altranais essential
Diploma in addiction studies desirable
Three years nursing experience post registration
One year experience working with drug/alcohol users with a particular emphasis on detoxification either residential or community based is desirable.
Full Irish driving license
Salary: Commensurate with HSE salary scales.

Short-listing and interview procedure
All applications will be responded to and kept informed of their status in the selection and recruitment process. A three-person panel including the line manager for the post will conduct the interviews. All candidates are asked the same questions, though ‘follow up questions’ may be asked if clarifications are required.
