FOLLOWING ASSESSMENT

You will be guided to the most appropriate programme in Coolmine or to another agency if Coolmine does not meet your needs at this time.

You will be invited to attend pre-entry groups for ongoing support in preparation for your chosen treatment option.

Preparation for admission is the beginning of your treatment, providing you with the support needed to address your substance use. Once you are ready and a place is available you will be admitted to your chosen programme. This may happen very quickly or it may take a number of weeks, depending on your progress and the availability of programme places.

Family support or the support of a concerned person is very beneficial in treatment, we would encourage you to involve a family member in your treatment as early as possible. We can offer additional supports through our Family Support Group and CRAFT programmes.
