The first place to start the admissions process is to download our Referral form from the download section. Fill out all the details required on the form and send it back to the appropriate section (preferably via email). You can self-refer of it can be done by a third party such a family member.
The admissions process is fairly simple and works as follows:
- Referral: Downloading the referral form is the first step in the process.
- Assessment: We will meet with a potential client and with the information from the referral form and with a one to one meeting decide best course of action.
- Pre-Entry: There are pre-entry meetings every week and we invite clients to participate in a meeting.
- After these steps, we decide which the best programme is for a potential client. Sometimes after this assessment process we refer clients on to another group or body. In certain cases a clients circumstances (health, legal, education needs, welfare or otherwise) would be more suited to be assessed by another organisation other than Coolmine. But, by taking the first steps, you will get help whether it's from us or another group.
On completion of this process we decide which program would be suitable for a client: if can be the Stabilisation Day programme, the Drug Free Day program or the Residential Programme for males and females
