Catherine is the Manager of Coolmine House Therapeutic Day programme in Lord Edward Street. She has over 15 years experience of working in Social care settings. Since joining Coolmine Therapeutic Community in March 2005 and has held several different positions within the organisation. Having been a project worker in Ashleigh House the only mother and child residential unit in Ireland, she then became the manager of Ashleigh House from 2012 to 2015 and is currently managing Coolmine House. With a diverse range of qualifications, Catherine has a Diploma in Psychotherapy and a Degree in addiction studies. She is also a Mindfulness Teacher and trained in acupuncture along with being CRA accredited and a supervisor in our Parent’s under pressure programme. She has contributed to various expert groups throughout her career and her key skills and areas of interest include evidence based practice Parents under Pressure(PUP) research, Mindfulness, CRA best practice Quality standards, inter-agency working and the service user’s case management.
