Young Person’s Programme

It is designed to support young people aged 16-24 impacted by substance misuse.

(under 18-year olds require caregivers’ consent)

The programme runs every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. The programme consists of two groups per week aimed at reducing the young person’s use while educating them on issues relating to addiction. It is run by our addiction councillors who also offer one to one key working and care planning for young people who do not wish to participate in the group programme or may not fit the criteria.

Structured reduce the use cannabis programme:

(12 weeks)

 

  • Assign key worker
  • Initial care plan
  • Weekly key working sessions
  • Maximum of 12 mixed gender clients
  • Inter-agency referrals

  • Reduce the use
  • Mind out
  • Group activities
  • Relapse prevention
  • Drug diaries
  • Safe plan
  • Move on certificates
