A qualitative study on how mindfulness-based relapse prevention (MBRP) is received and viewed by participants in a therapeutic community setting: To gain an understanding of how the MBRP programme is perceived by both clients and staff, examine the mechanisms by which it may be helpful to individuals with substance abuse problems, to examine the implementation within the context of a therapeutic community setting and to explore the participant’s personal experience of the programme and gain an insight into the self-perceived benefits.
