Chocolate Biscuit Cake Christmas Pudding

Recipe by The Hungry Nugget.

INGREDIENTS
• 400g chocolate (half milk, half dark)
• 100g butter
• 1 tin condensed milk
• 200g digestive biscuits
• 100g white chocolate
• holly or mint leaves
• artificial holly berries, glacé cherries or red m&ms

OPTIONAL EXTRAS
• 2 Mars bars
• 50g Malteasers

METHOD
1) Add the chocolate and butter to a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan of simmering water to melt, stirring occasionally.
2) Meanwhile, break up the digestive biscuits, line a bowl with clingfilm, and chop up Mars bars if using. Place biscuits, Mars bars and Malteasers in a separate bowl and set aside.
3) Once the chocolate and butter is melted, pour in the condensed milk and stir until just combined.
4) Fold in the biscuits/Mars bar/Malteasers until fully coated, then tip into the lined bowl. Place in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
5) Remove from the fridge and pull the sides of the clingfilm to slide the biscuit cake out of the bowl. Place on a chopping board, or a serving plate of your choice.
6) Melt the white chocolate and dollop onto the top of the “pudding”. If required, use a spoon to gently nudge it to the sides to create a dripping effect.
7) Place leaves and holly berries on top.
